Eating at Morin
During the winter season we offer a Half Board* only option of breakfast, afternoon tea and a three course evening meal with wines.
In the warmer months we offer bed and breakfast daily, with an optional two course evening meal or barbecue.
Breakfast is possibly the most important meal of the day. At Morin we ensure you are fortified for whatever the day ahead may bring. Whether it’s a hearty cooked breakfast before tackling the winter slopes or a healthy, slow release breakfast for a day of walking or cycling through the countryside, we want to make sure that you are comfortably well fed.
Breakfasts always include your choice of tea, coffee, hot chocolate, water and fruit juices as well as French bread and croissants, jams, a selection of cereal. During the winter we offer you a *cooked breakfast option of bacon, egg and tomatoes to set you up for your day on the mountains. In warmer months we offer cold meat/s and cheese and yogurt.
In the winter we also make sure that you are don’t go hungry when you return to Morin. Put your feet up in the Snug and enjoy a well-earned cup of tea or coffee and a slice or two (who’s counting?) of the daily made cake or biscuits.
For those groups and families booking Morin on a Sole Occupancy basis we offer you a welcome drink and canapés whilst we give you all the information you will need for your stay at Morin. During the rest of your time with us you can wind down by the fire before dinner with a drink from the Honesty Bar or soaking in the hot tub on the deck outside.
Each night we offer a meal of three courses: an entree, main course and dessert all served with specially selected world wines.
*Staff take a well-earned day off once a week, usually Wednesday – when breakfast will be continental and we help you make reservations for dinner in one of Morzine’s many cafes and restaurants. If you have booked the whole chalet we are happy to arrange transfer/s into town for your evening meal and advise on local bus and taxi services for your return.
